My grandparents have taught me the value of compassion, charity, and unwavering loyalty.

My favorite thing about my grandparents is what I can learn from them. I’ve been taught about many things from the extremes of religion to the extremes of science.

                          Your first (and best) grandson
My children, niece, and nephew are the most fortunate children in the world to be able to call Jim and Annette, Grandma and Grandpa. They are truly blessed. From marching band competitions, to band concerts, to flute recitals, piano recitals, violin recitals, dance recitals, schools plays, swimming lessons, impromptu homework study sessions, last minute babysitting and many more.

Your marriage brought you two boys and five grandchildren. I know it represent us all when I say we appreciate your love and support.

Mom and Dad,Thank you, thank you, for being the kind, generous, and loving people you are, and for giving me more than I ever needed or deserved.  You continue to shower my family with lots of love, kindness, encouragement, and life examples.  For everything, I am truly grateful, and I hope you know that I love you both more than I’m able to adequately express.

Dear Mother and Father,Congratulations on reaching your 50th wedding anniversary!  That is a remarkable achievement.  Thank you for taking the love in your marriage and growing it to encompass so many other people.  Specifically, I thank you for being a blessing to me, to my wife, and to our children.

Annette and Jim,

Jim & Annette
What a joy it is to celebrate the two of you! You spend your lives making other people feel special, helping them out, sharing generously, and standing alongside other people. We are so glad that you get your day now!
We remember that you were new to the church at the same time we were, and right from the beginning we so appreciated your warmth and friendliness, your depth of spirituality, your probing questions, and your senses of humor. We hate to think about what the world would be like without people like you.
So now as you have your celebration, we want you to know that we wish you God’s blessings for continued health and happiness.  You have both been used by God in wonderful and unique ways, and you make a difference in the lives of so many people.  Thank you for letting the light of your faith shine in all you do.
Here’s to Jim and Annette!

Love,
Sherry and Bill
